We always ship via PostNL Standard Mail. No tracking code is required for this when processing Bol.com orders.
In the Woosa plugin, we have set PostNL Standard Mail as the default shipping method.
In addition to Bol.com orders, we also receive orders directly through our webshop. When we complete a direct order, it takes just one click, and we can quickly move on to the next order. Unfortunately, completing Bol.com orders in WooCommerce is much more cumbersome: First, we have to click the blue "Process Shipping" button in the order, then wait, then click the "Check Delivery Options" button, wait again, and then click "Register Shipping" and wait yet again. So, a lot of clicking and waiting, even though we always select the "PostNL Briefpost" option specified in the settings. This really needs to be less cumbersome and is the number one source of frustration within our company. It’s cumbersome and takes a very long time.
WHAT WE’D LIKE TO SEE
When we complete a Bol order in WooCommerce using the standard WooCommerce method (i.e., not via the Woosa blue button), we want the order to be marked as shipped not only in WooCommerce but also on Bol.com (with the default shipping method set to "PostNL Briefpost," as set in the Woosa plugin settings).
We would be thrilled if this were possible soon! The current process is extremely annoying.
Additional information for the programmer:
Currently, for some shipping methods, Bol.com requires a tracking code to be provided. In those cases, automatic order completion without a tracking code is not possible. This can be easily resolved.
In my opinion, the Woosa plugin could work as follows:
- If a Bol.com order is marked as shipped in WooCommerce (i.e., not via the Woosa-Bol button) ==> Check if the setting in the Woosa Plugin is PostNL Letter Mail ==> If so, also mark the Bol.com order as shipped. If "Letter Post" is not set in the Woosa plugin settings (i.e., if tracking is required), then do not unregister with Bol.com.
This way, all Woosa users benefit from the convenience of quickly unregistering letter post orders, without causing any issues for users who do not use letter post.
